It is time for the weekly savings linky, but I will admit that I have very little savings to brag about this week. In fact I have not been able to get to the store even once. My husband did pick up 2 x 1 gallon orange juice at Winn-Dixie at $7, which would have been $8.98 at Publix, so that’s a savings of a whopping $1.98.

It has been a crazy back-to-school week at my house, as I had two sons and my husband starting school on Monday. The schedules do not work very well together, which means that I am spending a lot of time on foot walking back and forth between schools in 96 degrees plus. This week I have walked more than 20 miles, and I am sure that it will be even more next week as my husband has been let out early this week.

Grocery Shopping Update:

I did end up going grocery shopping this afternoon, and it turned out to be quite a junk trip. My boys had been complaining that I only had healthy snacks in the house, so I decided to spoil them a bit. I also finally found the Morningstar sale that I was waiting for. I had been saving my Morningstar coupons in the hopes that a rare Morningstar sale would come up at Publix, and I made sure to get enough to last until I find another great deal. The Spicy Doritos were a treat for my husband, and I personally picked up the fig newtons, because it is so rare to find a good deal on them.
