Pineapples

Yesterday I cleared my local Publix store for the best Del Monte pineapples. Thanks to Del Monte, I have been able to spread the joy of fresh Del Monte produce around both in my neighborhood and here at Frugality Is Free. Our friends and neighbors will get great-tasting Del Monte pineapples as thanksgiving gifts, and I included a little note about how they can start their own pineapple plant and how to care for it.

This summer we had our first homegrown pineapples, and we currently have five pineapple plants growing, all of which brings curious neighbors…now they can make their own.

Now, my neighbors, friends and family are not the only ones who can enjoy fresh produce complimentary of Del Monte. You can buy other Del Monte fruits than just pineapple, and Del Monte is giving away two (2) $25 Del Monte gift certificates to two of Frugality Is Free’s readers.

Del Monte recently gave away thousands of dollars to deserving teachers across the United States, but the contest has now ended. You can see all of the winning teachers at Del Monte Teacher Monday.

The gift certificates are easy to use, and you can use it on any Del Monte fresh produce at your local grocery stores.

Disclaimer: I received a Del Monte gift certificate for hosting a giveaway and promoting Del Monte Teacher Mondays.
