The Disney Pixar Cars 3-piece dinner set and lunch kit from Zak Designs is the first gift to be featured in the holiday gift guide here at Frugality Is Free as part of the Family Holiday Wish List. My four-year-old loves everything about Disney’s Pixar Cars movie, and there is always a Cars item of some sort on his wish list. His most recent Cars obsession is his new Cars lunch bag and dinner set from Zak Design, which is a perfect gift for any little boy.
Review
My son does not even bring lunch to school this year, as he is only in Pre K, but he brings his new lunch bag every day just to carry a waterbottle in his Cars lunch bag. Mealtime is always a struggle with my picky eater, and while his new Cars cup does not make him eat any more than usual, it makes dinner time more pleasant because he automatically puts on a smile, when he sees his Cars plates and Cars cup.
As a mother I love Zak Designs dinnerware and lunch bags because the quality is great and they are easy to clean. I can definitely attest to the durability and quality of Zak Designs products, as we have several in our household. After taking a closer look at my oldest son’s four-year-old Spiderman lunch bag, it was sure enough a Zak Design lunch bag. After four years this lunch bag still looks great, it works perfect, and I bring it on our walks almost every day. One thing that always concerns me, when buying new lunch bags is the zipper. However, the zipper on our four-year-old Zak lunch bag still works just as great as it did the day I purchased it.

We also have a couple of one-year-old Zak Designs Transformers plates, which I shamefully admit to have dropped numerous times on our hard tile floors. Amazingly they have survived every time, and they still look great after a year of being washed several times daily. These plates were my sons favorites just until the day that the Zak Designs Cars dinner plates arrived. Fortunately my two older boys do not eat breakfast at the same time, because they both want to use the Cars bowl for their cereal.
The Cars dinner plate and cup belongs to my four-year-old son, and as I mentioned previously he absolutely loves it.
