This week there is a great CVS deal on Coke products, and if you combine the CVS deal with Coca Cola coupons, you will be able to save a lot of money. You have to hurry though, as the in-store Coca Cola coupons expires 3/15/2011. The deal is not as good as the Diet Coke deal a few weeks ago, but it is still a stock up price that is very difficult to beat. My pantry is filled with Diet Coke, but at least we won’t have to go out and pay $4 per pack anytime soon.

The CVS Coca Cola Deal:
Buy $15 worth of select Coca Cola products, get $5 Extra Bucks Back.
CVS Diet Coke Deal 1st Scenario:

Buy 3 x Diet Coke 12 packs for $13
Buy 3 Coca Cola 2 liter products for $3
Use 3 x $1.25 Diet Coke Coupons (Coupon expires 3/15 Hang tag still available in some stores, look by the Diet Coke 12 pack display I found it at a South Florida CVS store on Sunday)
Use a $1 off 3 x 2 liter Coca Cola products hang tag coupon (did not see this in store)
Total after coupons $10.50 + tax (Get $5 CVS buck back)
If you cannot find the hangtag for the 2 liter bottles you could do the following deal:
CVS Diet Coke Deal 2nd Scenario:
4 x  Diet Coke 12 packs @ $4.34 each = $17.34 – (4 x $1.50 Diet Coke coupons) = $11.34 + tax (5 CVS bucks back)
The $25 CVS Gift Card Challenge
Cheryl at Simply CVS has challenged me to see how far I can stretch $25 at CVS Pharmacy, and she has provided me with a $25 CVS gift card just for this purpose. With the CVS shopping tips, coupon match-ups and CVS deals alerts from Simply CVS, I hope to be able to stretch the CVS gift card far.
Last week I spent $0.06, I saved $2.97, and I received $1 Extra Buck back from using the Green Bag Tag – Balance $24.94

CVS Gift Card Challenge – Week 2
This week I did the Diet Coke deal, and I also got free Kelloggs cereal bowla for our upcoming vacation, and “free” Crest toothpaste. I am using the word free carefully, as I did have to pay taxes on the free items. I am always surprised to see how much the taxes actually end up adding up, even if I get free products at CVS. Because of the taxes, I am very careful to only purchase products that my family can use, or that I can donate.
