EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale w/ 110 lb. Capacity & SmartGripWhen I first heard of the EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale, I was a bit skeptical. I questioned whether this small digital luggage scale could really do the job that I had been struggling with for so many years.

As a intercultural and internationally mixed family, my family often has visitors from overseas, and with our visitors comes a lot of luggage. The luggage rules and weight limits have changed a lot over the years, and the gigantic suitcases, which I used to move with back and forth over the Atlantic almost a decade ago are no longer useful.

Nowadays, our family from abroad or even from within the U.S. travel much lighter, and watching the luggage weight has never been more important as the fees have become extreme and almost unavoidable. There is one issue that has not changed over the years though, and that is the difficulty of weighing luggage.

So can the EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale really do the job?

The Answer is yes! Yes, it can! When I got the opportunity to try out the Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale, I was very excited, and I immediately started dragging out the suitcases. I wanted to test the accuracy of the EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale, so I also dragged out our regular scale to compare.

Trying to balance a suitcase on a regular scale

Sure enough, as soon as I tried weighing the relatively small suitcase on our regular scale, I had flashbacks of how difficult weighing a larger suitcase is. Not only is it a hassle to measure a large suitcase on a regular scale, but it can at times be almost impossible. Over the years I have been down on my knees countless times trying to peak in at the scale’s window beneath the suitcase in the brief moment that the suitcase would actually balance and not have to be supported.

Contrary to my regular method of balancing and attempting to see the weight of a suitcase, The

EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale  is extremely easy to use. All you need to do is attach the digital luggage scale to your luggage. Turn it on, and then lift for a couple of seconds until the ThetEatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale has weighed your luggage.

You can see a demonstration in the video below.

Since our family and friends come from all over the world, one of my favorite features is the fact that you can easily switch from lbs to kg and back again. When traveling between Europe and the U.S., this is especially one of the concerns from our European guests, as our European visitors are not comfortable using lbs.
