Earlier today I received a fabulous $20 off $75 Gap Outlet Coupon, and while I would not have jumped on it under normal circumstances, I had another Gap discount up my sleeve. A few weeks ago I received a $25 Gap gift card from the Huggies Enjoy The Ride program, and I knew I had to save it for a great coupon and/or sale at the Gap Outlet store.
So with the promise of a great sale, a fabulous Gap Outlet Coupon and a Gap gift card….I just had to go. I dragged my three boys to the outlet mall, but first we had a great time at a fantastic park close to the mall. We brought our lunch and drinks, so we saved big time by having lunch at the park instead of at the mall.

Navigating our enormous outlet mall on a holiday weekend with three boys in tow is quite a challenge, and making it through the Gap store was not easy either – especially not since I had to calculate 40 percent off everything, and make sure that I just hit $75. I made sure to bring a few extra items to the register just in case I had miscalculated. We got it done though, we got some great deals, saved a whole lot of money, and we ended up buying something for everyone in our family of five.
Everything clearance was 40 percent extra off the lowest price, and there were quite a few shorts on sale at $10. With the extra $20 off coupon and the gift card I really made it out of the store with some great deals, and I paid less than $3 per item out of pocket.

For Me:
Ribbed tank top was $12.99 on clearance at GAP for $6.99 – 40% off  = $4.19
Ribbed tank top was $12.99 on clearance at GAP for $6.99 – 40% off  = $4.19
Ribbed tank top was $12.99 on clearance at GAP for $6.99 – 40% off  = $4.19
T shirt was $19.99 on clearance at GAP for $6.99 – 40% off  = $4.19
Dressy tank top was $24.99  on clearance at GAP for $14.99 – 40% off = $8.99
Shorts was $29.99 on sale at GAP for $29.99 on sale at GAP for $10
For My Husband:
Shorts was $29.99 on sale at GAP for $29.99 on sale at GAP for $10

For My 8-year-old Son:
Uniform Polo Shirt was $14.99 on sale at GAP at 50% off = $7.50
T shirt was $14.99 on clearance at GAP for $7.99 – 40% off = $4.79

For My 5-year-old Son:
Shark Rashguard was $16.99 on sale at GAP for $12.50

For My 1-year-old Son:
T shirt was $12.99 on clearance at GAP for $3.97 – 40% off = $2.39
Total Regular Price $203.89
Subtotal after sale and clearance $72.93
– $20 off $75 GAP Outlet Coupon
$52.93
Tax $3.18
Total $56.11
– $25 GAP gift card from Huggies Enjoy The Ride

Total Out Of Pocket $31.11
Total Saved $172.78

I was supposed to spend $75 before tax, which I did to begin with, but then as I went through the receipt a little bit later, I discovered that they had overcharged me on the toddler t shirt. It had come up as being $7.99 on clearance before the 40 percent off, while the price on the tag was $3.97…so of course when we headed back I made sure to get in and get my money back. It might not be much, but I was going to pass the store anyway, and I know how far I can stretch a couple of bucks at CVS, so every penny counts.

Do you have a GAP Outlet store nearby?
