This morning I took my mother-in-law to CVS to get cheap toothbrushes that she was going to send to relatives abroad. I had quickly jotted down the deals from Simply CVS last week, and I found the toothbrush coupons to bring, but other than that I was completely unprepared. At first I was just going to get a set of toothbrushes and toothpastes, and so would my MIL, but then I remembered the Pantene deal, and amazingly I had a coupon in my coupon organizer. Before I knew it, I was calculating, writing down and putting together the best out-of-pocket scenario.
In the end, I had a negative -0.28, so I grabbed a caramel for $0.35 after tax, which helped me get out of the store with everything and only paying pennies.
