Do you sew? If so, who taught you how to sew?

My answer:

My mother taught me the basics of sewing, when I was younger, but I have always wanted to take classes. We recently had a sewing class store open up in my neighborhood, and I have finally convinced my husband to let me take some classes. I am so excited to finally be able to learn how to sew more complicated items.
