Rockboard Scooter
This year the Rockboard Scooter is sure to be a hit under the Christmas tree, and for a very good reason. The other day I decided to take my son’s Rockboard Scooter for a ride on my own, just to see why it gets such high praise from my kids. Thirty minutes later I came inside declaring “I want one too!” to my husband, who thought it was a bit of an odd statement coming from a 31-year-old stay-at-home mom.
Well, let me tell  you, the Rockboard Scooter is a blast, and it also works some stomach muscles while you are using it. I will admit it, I was rather embarrassed, when I first took it out for a ride, especially since neighbors sitting on their porches had a first-row seat to the show. When I first saw the Rockboard scooter, I could not imagine anyone actually keeping the balance on this thing, least of all me, but it turned out to be very easy to hold the balance, and it did not take me long before I was rocking back-and-forth down the streets. This kids scooter is definitely not just for kids.
Rockboard Scooter
The Rockboard Scooter is not just a regular kids scooter, it is powered by the use of back and forth movement, and it can achieve speeds up to 10 MPH.Although it took some practice, I was surprised to see that even my five-year-old son could hold his balance on the Rockboard Scooter, and I am even more impressed because he still uses training wheels on his bike.

While my five-year-old son can use the Rockboard Scooter, this is definitely a scooter for bigger children, because of the high speed it can achieve (up to 10 MPH). Helmets and knee protectors should be used, and the same safety measures should be taken as when using a bike. The original Rockboard Scooter is recommended for kids age 8 and up, and I fully agree with this recommendation.

I was curious to see how the Rockboard Scooter would unfold and fold back up, as I have witnessed several frustrated parents and kids on the playground unsuccessfully trying to unfold their regular scooters because it was stuck somehow. Fortunately the Rockboard Scooter unfolds and folds back up with ease.
To unfold/fold up the Rockboard Scooter, you simply have to turn a nob – it is simple, quick and easy for anyone to do.

Why I Love The Rockboard Scooter
  • It is fun (even for moms)
  • It keeps the kids active
  • It is easy to use
  • It is very built of high quality materials.
  • The wheels are extremely sturdy.
  • It comes fully assembled and ready to use.
  • You can download the instruction manual online if you loose it.

What I don’t love about the Rockboard Scooter:

  • It is fast – up to 10 MPH
  • It is a bit heavy and takes up space even when folded.
