Skintimate Free At CVS - I spent $5, Saved $24 & Got $16 Extra Bucks Back

free Skintimate shaving gel at CVS
This morning my youngest son and I made a stop at CVS, before we headed for the playground. I did not really have much planned except for getting some free Hallmark cards, but that soon changed. It turned out that my CVS had Skintimate shaving gels and creams for $3.19 - $3.69 with 4 CVS Extra Bucks back on each, which mad Skintimate free at CVS.

I could have done a lot better, but I only thought I had $3 CVS Extra Bucks. Then after I finished shopping, I discovered that I had more CVS Extra Bucks in my wallet....not in my coupon organizer. Of course these CVS Extra Bucks were expiring this week, so I decided to roll them by using them on more Skintimate shaving gel.

  1. WOW! Good job! I'm new to your site & love it! I'm new at CVS'ing and always have to look at your match-ups, etc. I live in No. California, which is why this may happen, but, unfortuately, it always seems like you get a lot more "clearance" deals....I almost never see "clearance" deals at my store! :(
I always keep my eye's out though after reading what you found just to see if it's in my store or not!!
I hate that things are "regional"....I was looking forward to the $10.00 rebate form that was in the SS (1/29), that I read about, but then I didn't get it!
Well, thank you so much for all your hard work! Inspirational!! :)

  2. Was this ECB deal on the shaving cream only at some CVS stores?? I went and did this TWICE just to make sure I wasn't messing up and nothing... I don't understand.

    1. Amber it was an unadvertised deal, so it may not have been in all stores, I have heard of a lot of people finding it though. Did you test it out?

I have often had to just go ahead and buy the item in order to see if it works or not. If it doesn't you can always return it.

  3. I'm also in Nor Cal (Bay Area) and my CVS is not so friendly :( I'm also new. our CVS didn't offer the $4ECB for buying Skintamates... we didn't even get the BOGO free Speedstick coupon up here...

    1. Anonymous, I did not get the BOGO coupon either:( The Skintimate deal was unadvertised, so not all stores may have it, it can be a hit or miss.

I have a very unfriendly CVS in my area, and even though it is next to my favorite grocery store, I only go there to print coupons from the scanner... It really depends on the managers attitude towards coupons in many cases.

I hope you are able to find a more friendly CVS store too.
