With Valentine’s Day coming up, I have personally requested practical gifts with a purpose instead of cut red-roses or another standard Valentine’s Day gift. An automatic cleaner is high on my list, and I recently got the opportunity to try out the Mint Cleaner for a couple of days. If you need a little help with the cleaning, the Mint Cleaner is a good way to help you do some light day-to-day cleaning.
The Mint Cleaner is not a vacuum! The Mint Cleaner is a sweeper similar to a Swiffer, but it does most of the work for you. It is an automatic cleaner, which uses Swiffer type cloths or specialized microfiber cloths to clean your floors, and it does so in a very systematic way. A sensor helps the Mint cleaner navigate its way around the room, and it ensures that it keeps on going even if it meets obstacles in its way.
I have tile all over my house, and I was curious to see whether the Mint cleaner would be a good fit. With three boys in the house, I feel as if I am always cleaning, and I need some serious help to keep the floors clean every day.
The first day I did a test on the dirtiest part of my kitchen floor, which is right next to the outdoor entrance. My conclusion is that while the Mint cleaner picks up a lot of dirt, it is not the perfect solution for my house. It may be that my floors just get too dirty too fast, but even after the Mint cleaner cleaned my kitchen floor, I still felt an urgent need to clean it myself.

I do not have any wooden floors, but I suspect that the Mint cleaner will work better at these, as it does pick up dust and small particles.
