I made two quick trip to Publix today, but there was not much I needed to pick up. My sons’ favorite grape juice was finally on sale, and there are great Welch’s coupons out. Then Morningstar Farms veggie burgers have finally gone on sale….after more than six months….the only coupon I had was a $1/3 Target Morningstar coupon, which made it a little bit cheaper.
Of course I forgot orange juice, so I made a second stop on the way home from the park and the beach to pick up a gallon of orange juice.
My Publix Shopping Trip
8 x Welch’s Grape Juice on sale at 2 for 6 = $24 – (8 x $1 Welch’s Juice coupons) = $16 ($2 each)
6 x Morningstar Farms Burgers on BOGO sale at 2 for $4.39 = $13.17 – (2 x $1/3 Morningstar Farms Target coupon) = $11.17 ($1.86 each)
1 gallon orange juice $3.99
Total out of pocket $31.16
Total saved $31.59
I did not save as much as usual, but I bought expensive products that my family likes on sale with coupons to cut the price in half. Thanks to a big stock pile, my family was not in need of much else this week.
