I have finally found out how to save on produce, and the magic words are: Walmart Price Matching! Since Walmart moved into my shopping area, I have been trying out the Walmart price matching, and I am very impressed. I have tried price matching at a different Walmart, but that store would not let me use coupons. I realized that I had not asked at this new Walmart, so today I brought a couple of coupons along to use with my Walmart price matching items, and sure enough they took the coupons without a hassle.
Produce and meat are the big money pits in my grocery budget, but by using Walmart price matching, I have been able to save 50 percent on produce. I still get a few produce items at ALDI, but the rest I got at Walmart. My husband was not too happy about buying meat at Walmart, so this I still bought at ALDI, even though I could have price matched myself to better prices at Walmart.
I was also very excited about the Capri price match deal, because we were down to our last two boxes. I had not bought Capri Sun since September, because I had quite a stock in the pantry. After a couple of birthdays and school events, I was running low, and at this price I was excited to stock up again.
