How To Make Falafel With Falafel Mix

As a vegetarian I have always been a fan of falafel, but it is not that easy to find a great falafel place here in South Florida. Instead, I make my own falafel, but I do not make falafel from scratch, as this is quite a process. Instead I buy a falafel mix, which makes making falafel easy, quick and simple. I usually buy my falafel mixes at Whole Foods, but Whole Foods is out of the way, so I am excited to see that Amazon now has the falafel mix that I usually use.
Right now you can get Fantastic World Foods Falafel for as low as $2.58 per box, when you buy in bulk and use the subscribe and save option.

  3. Heat up oil
  4. Roll the falafel mix into small balls and carefully lower in hot oil.
  5. Turn down the oil temperature to medium.
  6. Turn after one side is brown
  7. Once all sides are brown, carefully remove the falafel and drain off excess oil with a paper towel.

Hi! We were just in a restaurant last week that had this on the menu. I’ve only had it at Boma, a restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at WDW. I really can’t remember much about it, other than it was good. Hope all is good with you and your family!

Not sure how close it is for you but there is a deli on Sterling just west of 95 in Hollywood that has really good falafel. 🙂
