Pubilx groceries

This morning my toddler and I went for a long walk, which included the park and a stop at Publix. I will admit that I was completely and utterley exhausted after the 5 miles walk, especially after the long way home with a very heavy stroller. On top of that it turned out to be a very hot South Florida day with 83+ degrees, but luckily I had my hat and my son has a great stroller canopy to provide him with shade. I had brought the cooling bags and frozen bottles of water to keep the milk cold until we got home, and my mission was to get home as soon as possible so it was not a relaxing walk.

After having been using mostly green cleaning products, I had to give in and pick up some Lysol with bleach today. I know, its a big contrast to the green cleaning products, but I have to admit that there are just certain products that calls for Lysol.

I used the Del Monte coupons to bring my total over $50 before coupons, so that I could use the $5 off $50 coupons, and as always the pineapples will be planted after we have eaten them.

  2. We don’t have a Publix nearby but I saw in the paper that one is in a neighboring state so maybe they will eventually make their way here. But then again, our town is so little they probably won’t come close enough. I am always amazed at the deals Publix shoppers get.

    • Cheryl,
I agree. I’m so jealous of not having a publix. We have a Jewel but their prices are usually 2x what the other stores or even Walmart are. So even when they run the B1G1 it’s not worth it. 🙁 I sure wish they’d come with a Publix to IL or southeastern WI!
