My heirloom tomato seedlings from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds are growing fast, and I have planted out more seedlings this week in temporary containers. I planted some regular tomato seeds at the same time as I planted the heirloom tomato seeds, and I am very surprised to see that many of the heirloom tomato seedlings are bigger than the regular tomato seedlings.
Yesterday, I spent part of Mother’s Day getting rid of all of my old tomato plants. I picked off the last green tomatoes, but the plants had to go because they were done. Instead I planted out all of the regular tomato seedlings and some pepper seedlings, but the heirloom tomato seedlings will have to wait another week or so.
So far the seedlings I have transplanted to temporary portable planters are doing really well.

So far I am happy to report that all of the heirloom tomato seeds from Baker Creek has survived, and I cannot wait for the plants to start giving us tomatoes for the dinner table.
