Everyone in my family ended up taking turns being sick this week, so I just ran in and out at a few store. With some careful planning ahead, I was able to get some great deals and save a lot of money in very little time. ALDI had a price cut on chicken this week, and since the prices can go up at any time, I decided to stock up big time on chicken. I also found a great chicken deal at Target, so I filled up our mini freezer with 21 lbs of chicken. I ended up going $10 over budget, so it is a good thing that I have been under budget quite a few times this spring.
On my to-do-list for this weekend is organizing the pantry, because it is in serious need.
