Rain season has arrived in South Florida, so I only made it to Walmart and Publix. I did not really need much from ALDI anyway, but I sure hope the weather clears up enough so that I can make it to Target to get more cheap sunscreen before the sale ends. I shopped at a different Publix than I usually shop at, so shopping took forever, because I kept having to go back and forth. I surely do like to know my stores, and knowing the cashiers can also make shopping much easier.
As if the rain wasn’t enough, I had also forgotten my shopping list. My Publix grocery list was very detailed this week, but I somehow managed to scramble everything together for a list in the store. The only thing I did not get was the free Sun Drop soda, because the store only had the diet Sun Drop left, and my kids are not fans of it. I only have a few more days left though, before the coupons expire, so I’ll have to go back to my regular Publix again this week.
Since I filled up the freezer with chicken from ALDI last week, I did not buy any meat. Instead I just bought a lot of great deals, and I bought as many Morningstar Farms burgers as my freezer could fit. These are usually $4.39, which can make it expensive to be a vegetarian. We do not need soda, in fact I just bought soda last week and the week before. However, I simply could not resist the price of the Sierra Mist and Diet Coke, and my toddler got very excited, when I remembered there was a free DOVE chocolate wyb Diet Coke coupon in the yellow advantage ad. Now, my only problem is where to store all of the juice and soda, especially since I have been getting a lot of cheap and free soda lately.
I feel as if I am very prepared for summer vacation this year, because I have lots of juice drinks that we can easily throw in a cooler bag, whenever we go off on adventure, to the beach or the park.
