Target Clearance

I had very little time to stop at my favorite Target store today, but since I was in the area, I did want to check out the Target clothes clearance. I found two shirts for myself for $2 each after coupons, but the best find was a Leapster clearance find. My little one is turning three this summer, and he loves playing with his older brother’s Leapster so much that he will be getting his own for his birthday. Most of our games are more advanced, so the Finding Nemo game (4 – 6 years old) is just perfect for him.

I made a second trip to Target Friday, but I am adding everything up below.

Leapster Explorer Camera and Video Recorder clearance I also found a Leapster Explorer Camera and Video Recorder for $7.48 (Was $ 24.99)

Now, if you cannot find any Leapster clearance at your local Target, make sure to check out the Amazon Leapster Clearance deals. I was actually thinking about picking up a Leapster game on Amazon, but this deal was a little bit better. The Amazon Leapster deals start at $6.53.

  1. I really enjoy your blog. You do such a nice job finding bargains on clothing and toys. I don’t have a Target that is easily accessible, but I now shop around the clearance aisles and pick up items for my boys’ birthdays. I buy their clothes for the upcoming year during the end of season clearance sales. I don’t think I would have even thought of that if it weren’t for your posts. I’ve been a couponer for years, but hadn’t really thought of how to save on the rest of my expenses. Thanks!

  2. Amie, thank you so much for your kind words. I love sharing my Target clearance finds, and while I know that a lot of people are looking for these post due to the pageviews , it is always especially wonderful to see a comment like yours.

Make sure to keep an eye out for the July Target toy clearance posts. Target has huge clearance on toys twice a year, January and July, and I will definitely keep all of you updated, once they start marking down.

As for the clothes you are so right, it is amazing what a difference shopping clearance and shopping ahead can make in a family’s budget. My kids are dressed like “princes”, and while they are aware that we have a budget, they are not missing anything.

A few months ago I remember standing behind a lady in Target, she told the cashier that she was shopping for her one toddler son…she bought all the same clothes that my kids wear, but she paid full price. For one child, she spent more in a day on clothes than I do in a year for my family of five. I was a bit shaken up afterward:)

Thank you again Amie, and good luck in your strive for frugality, it sounds like you are doing fantastic all around.
