My family’s grocery shopping routine was completely off this week, since we headed off to the Keys this past weekend. We did spend $50 in gift cards on groceries such as fruits and snacks, while we were gone. Since it was all vacation spending, I am not including them in this weekly savings totals. Last night we made a quick stop at Publix to pick up some fruit and bread, and this morning I went to Publix again to get what we needed to tie us over until next week’s shopping day, and since I did not use a single coupon, my savings were very slim.

The boys and I also made a quick stop stop at the Target toy clearance sale, which is at 70 percent off, and we picked up school supplies at both Walgreens and Target.
