With Hurricane Isaac coming in South Florida’s direction, I wanted to remind all of you of the great prices on water and canned goods at ALDI. I just returned home from ALDI, and I sure am glad I went today, because everywhere (Walmart, Publix, ALDI) people were stocking up.
24 pack 0.5 liter Purified Water $2.29 ($0.10 per 0.5 liter bottle)
3 Gallon Purified Water $2.19 ($0.73 per gallon)
ALDI also has the lowest price on canned goods such as tuna, chicken, vienna sausages etc., so if you need to stock up just in case, I can highly recommend stopping by your local ALDI store.

Actually, one day this past week I almost broke my neck trying to catch Aldi. I thought it closed at 8p. I got there at 7:58p just to realize that they have new store hours. My Aldi now closes at 9p!!!! Yay!!!
Nickie, I did notice the new hours, I wish they’d open at 8 too:) I just posted the hours from their website though, since I am not sure if it is all across South Florida.
