I just returned home from a long, long shopping day, and there is only one word to describe how I feel: Exhausted! I’ll admit it, I am very stubborn, when it comes to my independence. To get everything accomplished today, I let my husband drop me off with my toddler at a shopping center this morning. Then when we finished shopping there, I pushed my little one in the stroller all the way to Publix. This was a 3 1/2 mile walk, and unfortunately there were not much shade. I definitely overestimated my energy level, and by the time we reached Publix I was about to pass out.
Still, I got my shopping done, and I even managed to recalculate my shopping list after it turned out that there were no more Reynolds Wrap. I had to split my shopping trip into two transactions, to be able to take advantage of two great $5 coupons. I had a lot of expiring coupons, which I knew that I would not be using, so I made sure to spread the coupon love around. It always amazes me how thrilled a middle age man (who probably never uses coupons) can get, when he receives a $5 coupon.
