Early in the week my middle son was home from school sick, so when Thursday came around I just wanted to get grocery shopping over and done with. We got everything done, and it sure is a good thing, because today my youngest son is sick and needs some serious mommy love.
Grocery shopping was a mix of easy-to-make foods, fruits and produce, and the kids were excited about the treats in there as well. I did not spend money on any extras, which is probably a good thing after last week’s 70 percent off Target clearance sale frenzy.
I was $14 under budget this week, which will off set some of those weeks that I have been over budget for a weekly average grocery budget of $65 a week of a family of $5.
