After last week’s last minute diaper trip, which ended up sending me $20 over budget, I knew I had to stay within budget this week. I did so, and I was able to shave off $5, which doesn’t even out last week, but it helps. If I had shopped at one store only, I would have ended up spending $20 more, so shopping around for the best deals is definitely the way my family keeps a low grocery budget.
Despite doing a lot of shopping at Home Depot, I had $0 extra spending this week, and I cannot wait to see some of the plants start producing. I have already spotted the first habanero peppers from the pepper plants I have grown from seeds, so now my husband and the neighbors are looking forward to some spicy cooking.
