This week was booming with appointments of different sorts, so I knew there was no room in the week to make it to Walmart and ALDI. Since this is where I usually get our fresh fruits and veggies, I had to give in and buy some expensive but much needed fruit at Publix in the middle of the week (not pictured). I actually ended up making three different Publix trips, but I stayed within our grocery budget of $65. Luckily the freezer is filled up with meat, and I still have lots of produce. I stocked up on milk for the next three weeks at Publix, and I was thrilled to get at least 6 months worth of laundry detergent at Publix for only $8.
Besides the grocery shopping, I made a couple of extra spending stops at Kohl’s, Target and The Children’s Place to shop for some baby gifts I am putting together. I am thrilled at the bargains I got, and I even managed to find some great deals for my oldest son and husband as well.
