Our family is very lucky to live in the center of a vacation destination. Not only does it give a whole new meaning to the concept of a staycation, but it also attracts our family and friends, which means we get lots of visitors. This week we will be hosting family from Europe, and we are all very excited. Do you live in or near a vacation destination?

  9. Looks beautiful!

  10. We’ve been dreaming of Florida today. North Dakota is certainly not a tourist destination. BUT I did get to eat dinner with my cousin yesterday. He was passing through on his way home from Montana so we met him in Minot. Elliott was really excited. It was the first time a cousin has ever visited us up here. Usually we have to go to Missouri to see any family besides my sister who lives with us.

  11. I live in an area that over the past few years has become a local destination point. It can be great when you want to enjoy the fun part, but it is also now a hassle to park, etc., because it is so crowded. It does seem strange sometimes that ppl think it is so great where you live, b/c I know all the downsides!!
