Target cereal deal

This week Target has a great cereal deal on General Mills cereals. I had coupons enough for one deal, so I picked up six boxes of cereal and received a $5 Target gift card back. The Reeses cereal turned out to be more like candy than cereal, so they went in the snack cabinet for special treats….definitely not for a fulfilling breakfast.

Transaction 1:

2 x Reeses Puffs @ $2.75 each = $5.50 – (2 x $0.60 Reeses Puffs coupons) = $4.30

4 x Golden Grahams @ $2.75 each = $11 – (4 x $0.85 Golden Grahams coupons) = $7.60

– $0.10 in Target reusable bag discount

Tax $0

Total out of pocket $11.80

Total saved $6.74

Received a $5 Target Gift Card Back

Transaction 2:

2 x Up & Up Straws at $1.09 each = $2.18 – $1 Up & Up tableware coupon = $1.18 ($0.59 each)

2 x Market Pantry Bagels at $1.34 each = $2.68 – $1 Market Pantry bagel coupon = $1.68 ($0.84 each)

– $0.05 Target Reusable Bag Coupon

Tax $0.07

Total $2.88

– Target gift card from previous purchase

Total out of pocket $0

Total saved $4.93

Total spent at Target $11.80

Total saved at Target $11.67
