We went to the Everglades about a week ago, and a peacock came a little close to the baby, when we were sitting in the shade waiting for the rest of our group to return from a swamp tour. It was pretty from afar, but a bit scary up close to the baby.

  1. Great pictures of the peacock. I didnt think that they would get that close to anyone. Maybe it was just curious about the baby. We lived by a man that had 3 peacocks for along time. Have you ever seen a white one?

  12. Isn’t he beautiful!?! Ours is also a blue indigo like this one. Did you get to hear him call? It sounds like a woman screaming, “Help! Help!” When ours first started calling, he scared me to death! I thought someone was out in our back pasture, but it was just the peacock!
