ALDI Foods

While Tropical Storm Chantal disintegrated somewhere over the Dominican Republic, this storm heading in our direction was a good reminder of checking on our hurricane supply here in South Florida. The kids and I have never been through a hurricane, but our husband has had his share, so at least he knows what we are going to be needing.

We already have quite a supply of basic staples in the pantry, so we just need to load up on the can goods that we normally do not eat such as canned sausage and of course my husband’s favorite noodles.

With sick kids, myself being sick and quite a long week, I did not feel like dragging four kids to the store, so I did a quick shopping trip without the kids. I am so thankful that ALDI’s prices allow me to load up the shopping cart with lots of fresh fruit and veggies, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that ALDI will move a little closer to us soon.
