Frugality Is Free Disclaimer review and giveaway

Baby Safety Month is coming up next month, but it is never too early to start thinking about baby safety and safe baby sleep. At the Frugality Is Free family HALO Sleepsacks are a part of how we keep our baby girl safe, and the HALO brand has come to mean both comfort and safety in our family.

Pink Halo SleepSack

Bellamy Blue started out with the HALO swaddles, which she absolutely loved. Everyone commented that she looked, as if she was wearing a straight jacket, but the HALO 2-in-1 Swaddle made her sleep more sound and safely. She loved being cuddled by the HALO Swaddle, and since I am not an expert swaddler, I appreciated being able to swaddle her safely with ease and simplicity.

Pink Halo Sleepsack

Now that Bellamy Blue has grown out of her Swaddle from HALO, she has graduated to the HALO SleepSack wearable blanket, and she loves it just as much as she loved the Swaddle. The HALO SleepSack wearable blanket provides her with comfort, and it works great as a blanket.

Girls Halo SleepSack

We still let Bellamy go to sleep with her favorite plush, her pink binky, which is a tiny soft blanket, but we take it away once she has fallen asleep. She still is not too fond of her big bed, but between her pacifier, her HALO Sleepsack and her pink binky, she is slowly beginning to feel comfortable in her crib.

HALO sleepsack

The new 100 percent cotton HALO SleepSacks with appliques are simply adorable, and the pink girly SleepSack is perfect for Bellamy Blue. She is long for her 5 months, but the size medium fits her just right. She has room to curl up, but she can also stretch out as long as she wants to. When she wakes up in the morning, she likes to play with her toes, so we easily unzip the bottom part of the SleepSack, so that she can get to her feet.
The HALO SleepSack wearable blanket is a great way to help keep baby safe and prevent SIDS, as the SleepSack replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby’s face and interfere with breathing. HALO Sleep sells sleepwear for infants and toddlers, and there are sleepwear for your every need.

  63. A family history of hip dysplasia and breech position in the womb are the two biggest risk factors for infant hip dysplasia. About one in four babies in the breech position will have some hip dysplasia. About one in eight babies will have hip dysplasia if one parent has a history of hip dysplasia. The risk jumps up to one in three for future children when a mother and a child already have hip dysplasia. Girls are more likely to be affected than boys. These risks can add up, so a girl baby who is in the breech position with a family history of hip dysplasia is probably going to have infant hip dysplasia herself.
