ALDI produce

After  fun morning at the pool, the kids and I headed to ALDI to stock up on our usual basics. Unfortunately ALDI was out of two of the kids favorite things for the second week in a row ….watermelon and their tortillas. Not good! We still picked out some good stuff for the fruit bowl and the produce drawer, but we sure miss our affordable, sweet tasting watermelons from ALDI.

  1. I love to shop at ALDI. They have great prices.

  2. I have never had the pleasure of shopping at an Aldi before though I have read great things about them. They finally built one close enough to my home to visit. After reading your post I am going!

    • Robin, I promise you that you will be saving lots by shopping at ALDI, Our ALDI is about a 15 minute drive away, and I keep hoping that they will come to our town. I still remember, when we shopped for produce at our regular grocery store, because I had to pick and choose very carefully to stay within the budget. Now, we pick up around 20 lbs of produce every week at ALDI, and the kids can eat as much as they want.
