Today is the last day of the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival in Coconut Grove, Miami, and it sure is a glorious day. The sun is shining bright, and the rain clouds are staying away. We made sure to bring along our hats, and it was a good thing we did, because there is not much shade in the area with kids rides.
This year the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival admission fee includes unlimited rides, and it made it a much more fun and exciting event for the kids. There were also more rides than usual, and our boys had a great time while we were thrilled that the rides were included in the admission cost.
The kids also enjoyed free milk and cheese at the MILK booth, and baby food was given away at the Happy Baby Organic Baby Food tent – Bellamy Blue sure enjoyed here banana baby food, and it was a great way to avoid the higher cost of the regular festival food. If you were in for a flavor experience are lots of great food booths, and there is even a beer garden for the grown ups.
The kids quickly found their way through the hay maze, and we even got to take family photos in the pumpkin garden.
One of our kids’ favorites was the little boardwalk out over the bay, as we spotted flying fish, barracudas and even a big sting ray. For our ocean loving kids, this little board walk in Peacock Park is always a great experience.
