Bellamy Blue is now 8 months old, and while she has been breastfed since day one, we recently needed to introduce a bottle. First of all, we did not know if I would have to stay in the hospital a few days after my recent surgery, and even if I did get to go home the same day, I would not be able to breastfeed for 24 hours after the anesthesia.
This is when we were introduced to the Evenflo Bebek collection, a collection of bottles, nipples and pacifiers that are all created to feel more like Mom. A week or so before the surgery we introduced the Evenflo Bebek 3-Handle Trainer cup, and this soon became Bellamy’s preferred water cup.
We also tried out the Evenflo Bebek Bottle a few times, before the day of my surgery, and our little girl seemed to like it quite well. The real test came the day of the surgery, when my husband was going to be alone with our daughter for most of the day.
Everything turned out to go better than expected. The baby loved her Evenflo Bebek bottle, and my husband loved being able to feed her without any crying. The surgery also went great, and I was able to get home the same day. Still, Bellamy Blue ended up being on the bottle for about 36 hours to prevent her from getting any residual medicine.
Bellamy Blue really does love the Evenflo Bebek Bottle, and it has he perfect shape for a good baby grip. She had no complaints, and she definitely did not mind being bottled fed with this new Bebek bottle from Evenflo.
The Evenflo Bebek bottle made everything easier, and it caused an otherwise hectic and stressful time to be less so. One difference that I quickly observed between the Bebek bottle, and other bottles that we have used in the past was that there seemed to be less air bubbles in the nipple. This seemed to bring about less fuzziness and gas, and it was a very pleasant experience for our little one.
Bellamy Blue is back on breastmilk only, but she still brings her Evenflo Bebek Trainer Cup everywhere. She loves drinking water, and since we are in hot South Florida, drinking water is a necessity all year round. I love that the Evenflo BeBek Trainer cup can easily be attached to the stroller, and Bellamy Blue loves how easy it is to hold on to.
Now, the Evenflo Bebek pacifiers looked great, and while Bellamy will use them, they are not her favorites. She grew up with a different brand of pacifier, and after eight months with this type pacifier, she has not quite taken to the new pacifiers yet.
