groceries

With a kids’ doctor appointment in the afternoon and a Halloween event tonight, I knew that I had to get this week’s grocery shopping done this morning. Thankfully we have the freezer full of chicken, and we still have some veggies left from last week’s ALDI shopping trip plus lots of frozen veggies, so I only picked up our regular orange juice, lemonade plus the deals.

We go through a lot of antibacterial soap at our house, so I was thrilled to see this week’s Dial sale, which correlates with the Dial coupon that came out a few weeks ago. I went by Publix twice in he morning to get to use 4 coupons each time, and I bought another 8 packs, when started trick or treating at Publix in the evening.

  1. I love Publix…and, so wish I could get these great op totals..my two publix in the last two weeks have really really gotten picky and changed policy again here in south Florida. But, LOVE your shop.

    • Vickie, my two closest Publix stores here in S. FL have really turend picky as well, when it comes to coupons. As I mentioned above, I did three different Publix runs to get these deals, but luckily it somehow made sense that day. I walked through Publix first, then went to CVS, returned to Publix, and then again in the evening, when the kids went to a Halloween party next to Publix. Otherwise, I’d only been able to get one table cloth (which by the way had to be approved by the manager every time) and 4 deals of the DIAL.

It’s a bit of a hassle, but I understand why they do it. I don’t mind them checking and double checking, as long as they keep their coupon friendly attitude + I just hope they keep their competitor coupon policy in place.
