Our boys are pretty excited about the cool, super things that are happening in the Target cereal aisle, where Cheerios has teamed up with the DC Comics Justice League!
Right now, in specially-marked boxes of Cheerios, you can find an exclusive, collectable Justice League comic book featuring an awesome adventure of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the rest of the Justice League while supplies last!
But act fast as these boxes will be gone before you know it! Head to the store and grab the delicious cereal that’s made with whole grain as the first ingredient—Cheerios!
Our youngest son and daughter love the regular Cheerios, and this week their older brothers could not wait for them to get started on the new General Mills Cheerios, because it said in bold “Justice League Exclusive Comic Book Inside …only at Target”. This surely caught their attention, and they were thrilled, when we finally opened the box.
The three boys took turns reading the Justice League comic book, and they all declared that it was “good…VERY good!” Our four-year-son is just learning to read, so I read the comic book to him. It was a bit hard to follow for him still, but we figured it out in the end. He especially loved how his favorite heroes batman, superman and flash all came together in the comic book. He decided that from now on, he wants to eat his superhero Cheerios in his new Superman costume….it was a perfect combination.
Our oldest son noted that there was an exercise in the end of the comic book, and that the comic book even listed the definitions of verbs, nouns, adjectives and interjections.
“It’s educational too,” he said, and yes I had to agree, it sure was.
Bellamy Blue still loves snacking on her Cheerios, and they taste good to her whether there are super heroes in the box or not.
You can buy the specially-marked boxes of Cheerios with collectable Justice League comic books at your local Target store.
