I wish that I could say that we went over our grocery budget of $75 this week because of Thanksgiving, but that is simply just not the case. I could have easily added a few things for Thanksgiving, without going over budget. Instead, we went over budget, because we were running way low on produce, and because there were some great deals this week that I wanted to take advantage of. Thankfully we were $25 under our grocery budget last week, but even the extra $25 wasn’t enough to cover the extra splurges. At $146 think it is actually the most we’ve ever spent on groceries in one week…scary!
