This week we did not go shopping until Thursday, because I was deep into my creative writing, and I barely dared do anything but take care of the kids, exercise and write just in case I lost the inspiration. I’ve got the ending down now, and so it was shopping yesterday and today…to catch up and fill the fridge for all of these growing kids of ours…especially the boys, who sure can empty a fridge very fast.

I did do some shopping from home yesterday, as our favorite online store is having an awesome $0.99 sale. In fact I saved more than $6000 on clothes by buying second hand…that’s going to be a lot of clothes to sort through once it comes. I’ve not included the consignment store spending or savings in our total, as it is difficult to calculate the “real” savings on secondhand clothes.

  1. You did great this week! I wish we had an Aldi closer to us, I go to our local farm stand and they have pretty good prices. I find compared to Publix produce they it lasts alot longer too!
