Frugality Is Free Disclaimer review and giveaway

Now that our oldest son has entered middle school, public school has taken a whole new meaning. In Public School Superhero author James Patterson has captured the essence of what it means to be a student at a public middle school in a less than desirable neighborhood. From bullying, to fear of eight graders, food fights, day-to-day survival and realizing that life just isn’t fair, Patterson has it all down and Public School Superhero is one book that many public school students will be able to relate to.

Public School Superhero, the new middle-grade book, by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts, with illustrations by Cory Thomas, is a book about an Kenny Wright, an African American sixth-grade boy, who attends an inner city school and lives with his grandmother.

Public School Superhero James Patterson

James Patterson recently announced that he is giving $1.25 million to school libraries this year, and in additino to this huge commitment, Patterson is also partnering with First Book to donate 100,000 copies of his new middle-grade book, Public School Superhero, to under-resourced schools and youth programs. He was moved to make this donation after recognizing a large community of children who don’t see themselves portrayed in dynamic, entertaining stories very often.

James Patterson has sold more than 300 million books worldwide, and according to Guinness World Records he has had more New York Times bestsellers than any other writer ever. He also has more #1 New York Times–bestselling books for children than any other living author. He is the international bestselling author of the highly praised Middle School, I Funny, Maximum Ride, and Witch & Wizard, and of the Alex Cross series. He writes full-time and lives in Florida with his family. You can learn more at www.jamespatterson.com
