Did you hear that Winn-Dixie will Donate all Profits on 4th of July to Wounded Warrior Project?

Winn Dixie Wounded Warrior

What a fantastic gesture it is, and you can help raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project simply by shopping at Winn-Dixie this Independence Day. Winn-Dixie will be open on 4th of July for regular hours.

This is the largest partnership Wounded Warrior Project has ever made with a retailer, and it is also the first time a partner has pledged all profits generated on July 4 to the organization. The Wounded Warrior Project’s mission is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members.

“Winn-Dixie operates in states with some of the highest Active Duty military populations in the United States. While we recognize on Memorial Day those soldiers who paid the supreme sacrifice and give thanks to those who have served on Veterans Day, the sacrifice and needs of those who are severely injured visibly or invisibly is not necessarily fully understood. I am honoured that we are running this program and am thankful to the military men and women and their families for their service and sacrifice.”

Ian McLeod,

CEO and president of Southeastern Grocers,

parent company of BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie grocery stores

Winn-Dixie stores will be open during their regular hours on the 4th of July. You can find more about the Winn-Dixie holiday hours here.
