Target Axe sale

With a tween boy and a teen boy in the house this years gift shopping has been a bit different than in the past, and one of my missions has been looking for deals on personal grooming products for the two gentlemen, who’ve become quite conscious of their looks. This week Target has a great deal on gift sets, and between sales, cartwheel savings and coupons, I was able to get the AXE gift sets at an affordable price.

I also picked up candy for the Christmas stockings, so the challenge is now to hide it well enough so it won’t disappear before Christmas.

Thanks to the Checkpoints app (see the bottom of the post), I was able to get enough $1 Amazon gift cards this fall to buy my oldest son a new MP3 player for Christmas, so I’ll keep on scanning. I usually earn a $1 Amazon gift card  per trip, which means at least$2 between Target and Publix a week. The Shopkick apps gives me gift cards that I can use at JCPenney and Macy’s to buy gifts for everyone in the family.

My Target Deals:

2 x Axe gift sets at $9.99 – B1G1 1/2 Off sale, 5% Target Cartwheel discount and 2 x $2/1 Axe gift set coupon from 12/6 Red Plum insert) = $10.24 = ($5.12 each)

4 x Mars Candy Cones on sale at $1.66 each = $6.64 – (2 x $1/2 Mars candy coupons 2.0z and up) = $4.64 ($1.16 each)

Minus $0.10 Target resuable bag discount

Tax $0.89

Total out of pocket $14.97

Total saved $14.66

I submitted my Target receipts to Receipt Hog to earn rewards – you can too. Download the receipt hog app here on your phone, and enter code: yah54683 to get extra spins at the Hog Slots and earn more rewards

We also earned points toward gift cards with the ShopKick App and the Checkpoints App please use our referral code jrfrugalmom when you sign up at Checkpoints.
