e’re in the middle of the move, and we are still waiting for our new fridge to arrive, so we are managing with a small hotel-room sized fridge. This is not easy to do, especially not since we are six people in the family. Still we’re managing, because it’s what we had to do to wait for free delivery on the right fridge at the right price.

Thankfully we have an ALDI close by, and by close by I mean a five minute drive compared to the 15 – 20 minutes it took us to get to ALDI in South Florida. Having ALDI in town is such a big help, and it really helps making our move easier, because it is one constant among the many changes. The setup in store is almost identical to our old ALDI store, the product selection as well, plus the prices are the same low prices we are used to.

It is also easy— and affordable— to treat the entire family to ice cream, as a six pack of ice cream cones cost only $1.99 at ALDI.

On our second ALDI trip of the week, I made sure to pick up hand sanitizer, paper plates and paper towels for the kids’ school supply lists, as we finally got everything divided up according to each of the boys’ school supply lists.

We’re also giving ALDI’s laundry detergent a try for the first time, since we finally got the washer and dryer connected. After a week of living out of suitcases between the hotel and then now in the midst of our move-in mess, we’re eager to get some laundry done.

  1. I don’t really have an ALDI close to me where I am in GA. I’ve heard great things about this store and the wonderful savings. I wish there was one closer!
